Hugs, prayers, AND good wishes for you, Sona! I hope you can get it taken care of asap and start feeling better asap too!!

Oh, honey, you need to focus on you for a change. So kudos to your mom for recognizing that. Will be thinking of you often. We'll be here when you get back.

I'll be praying for you. So sorry you have to go through this. Big HUGS! Please rest up and let others take care of you.

Oh Sona, huge hugs and well wishes from this side of the border. I've dealt with a string of uteran complications in the past year and know first-hand how terrifying those torrential bleeds can be. They're so debilitating, though, that they simply can't be ignored. Your mother and the other ladies are right - you can't do a thing more with your life if you don't take care of yourself. Focus on recovering knowing that I and everyone else here will be cheering you on and hoping for your speedy recovery.

I too recently went throu *Myomectomy* as I can feel the pain and turmoil you may be going through now. i was unmarried still time to start a family and the docs suggested me Hysterectomy. Can you believe it? I was devastated broken and engulfed by depression. And I thought I would only remove the fibroids not my uterus. I would fight with the fibroids and I would operate until and unless they got defeated and stopped growing. And I am still fighting.
Love, prayers and well wishes to you deeply from my heart Sona. I can feel your pain and I know you will fight the disease too. And being a mother, we have several technologies developed today. So don't worry. God can't be cruel to good people.

Sona, you are in my prayers for a successful operation and smooth recovery. I'm glad you're getting help, and hope you treat yourself with the same patience and kindness you give your family and patients!

You got it, Sona--prayers going up for your best recovery and a new season of health for you. God be with you.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sending you and your family good vibes and prayers. Please take care of yourself!

I will hold you and your family up in my prayers. Your health and wellbeing should be a top priority, and I'm glad you have such a supportive mom. May you find and gain strength as you go through this ordeal, and may you find the best doctors to do the procedure.

Hugs, kisses and healing wishes. I'm glad you've got a rock in your Mum, concentrate on getting better and try not to worry x

All will be well.

Health first. All else is merely supposing. My prayers!

I am sending as much good vibes and karma your way as I can possibly muster!

I couldn't agree more with your Mum and all the ladies here: your getting better is the most important thing right now. I am thinking of you, and hope the worst will be behind you very soon.
Hang in there and *big hugs*!

brief update: extremely painful transvaginal ultrasound today ( like being in active labor) with my 6 yr old clutching my hand and the two of us reciting prayers in Sanskrit. My doc is off today after a 24 hr call so she will call me first thing in the am with a decision on how to proceed. Have just taken some pain meds and off to rest for a while. thanks my friends.

Dearest Sona - please take care of yourself. And thank you for updating us.

Thank you for the update, Sona. You have a strong and very brave daughter who clearly takes after her mama! My heart aches for the both of you while you wait for news. You both need some TLC.

I'm so sorry to hear Sona. I am sending you lots or hugs and wishes for a speedy end to this ordeal.

Hugs and prayers to you, Sona. You will come out of this stronger and healthier.

You and your daughter are very brave, Sona. I'm so sorry you had to go through this. Thank you so much for this update. More hugs and positive vibes are on the way as we speak.

"But I guess it is better that I can be healthy and well to be around long enough to help them as well as help myself and my family."

Sona, as one who has experienced a varied 'buffet' of medical troubles, i can say you're darn tootin' it's better!!!! Surrogacy, adoption, teaching, being a docent or involved neighbor...... there are many many ways to become part of the next generation. All of them are much more possible with a healthy, strong body.

As a doc of course you know that surgery is no walk in the park....at the same time, i've seen my mom and my 'bonus mom' both have their lives turned around by successful surgeries (to stop asthma due to gastric 'upflow' and knee replacement). So i also feel excited thinking about how great you'll feel when all this is resolved!!!

My prayers are with you and your family. Take care, steph
