If you've been following my saga, you'll know I quit the initial place I was using to Transform. They put me on a 1200-a-day calorie load without supervision, which put me in such a bad mood that when they ignored my bad knees and gave lactose-intolerant, hypoglycemic me a sweetened milk-based supplement, I pitched a tantrum and got my money back.
So, instead, I am following a more sustainable regime. I am working out 2X a week with my old trainer, all strength and fitness training. I am doing cardio on my own, 3X a week. (Should be 4, but c'mon, I need a break and I have a kid and some vestige of a life!) I am also continuing to eat small, lean-protein-heavy meals and avoiding processed carbs like bread.
Result:
- So much more energy! And I stopped feeling queasy and burping all the time - do not miss the carbs AT ALL. Because that's what was doing it, I tried it at a dinner and suddenly was belching like a madwoman. Crazy!
- I am starting to see muscles in my arms and legs. I LOVE that.
- No idea what I weigh. On the scary diet I was down to 148. I think I'm around there, but I moved the scale out of my bathroom because I refuse to be obsessed by a number that fluctuates depending on how much water or salt is in my system, or whether I've pooped or not.
BUT
My pants are falling off without a belt!
- Muffintop has definitely decreased! I no longer feel that depressing jiggle in the area between my seatbelt and my waistband!
- DH has been caressing my waist and saying I'm looking good. Hallelujiah!
SO!!! Overall, success, and I plan to continue.
Thanks for supporting me, I'll post pictures when I get my stomach to where I'd like it to be... baby steps!
