On this blog and my blogroll, ther are almost-nude Victoria's Secret ads all over the place! I have to shrink my window down to a teeensy little square and try to dodge them so I don't look like I'm browsing naughty things on the job. *CANNOT WAIT* until this ad campaign is over...

I've got a Revlon ad that keeps opening up to a huge window if I accidentally scroll over it. Now it's going to come up more because I typed the word "Revlon"! GAH!

Rae: that's funny- the VS ad 'made me' buy a ruched midi skirt and another a la Angelina Jolie high slit skirt from Victorias secret no less. I also have ads for shoes a plenty!!

at work the VS ads don't show up- ti says its a blocked site. TG for that!!

I know what you mean though. On Pinterest i have a friend who's getting into photography so she pins like 10,000 of those "boudoir" photos. I feel like i can't even go on Pinterest now without someone walking behind me and thinking i'm looking at something totally different! :B

It's not VS tracking your keywords/clicks, it's Google. VS probably paid google to promote their "pink" stuff to people who likes dye, boots, and cwp!

sorry i haven't been here much.. just been way too busy with work & kids. I try to follow the forum from time to time though, just to soak in some style quotient, by osmosis if nothing else!

I have Revlon and Victoria's Secret ads lately (and yes Una I also get the accidental window opening up at the top from Revlon).

Even though I've been working on stuff at home, I was expecting someone here relatively early this morning (while I'm doing my coffee/YLF routine) and so I kept minimizing the screen in case he showed up..

I don't mind the idea of Victoria's Secret ads, but this particular ad/picture is just a little much for me to want to have it right above the reply window. I buy stuff from Victoria's Secret ...but I don't particularly like this ad hanging around on my screen! GAH. It's placed in such a manner that if I were replying or posting, it takes up half my screen...

Anyway, I'd just feel a little silly if someone saw it. It would be nice if they could come up with a classier-looking advertisement.

I'm always amused by the NSFW comments from people who work places much more formal than my office. You should see some of the screensavers these boys have... most regular comment I have made "You know those aren't real, right?"

Hehe, you guys are a riot! "You know those aren't real, right?" - heck, these days "those" probably includes photoshopped thighs, booty, hair, eye color...

cloud9, that is interesting about Google! Funny thing is, I buy my underwear from the Kmart children's section (yep, I needs me some breathable cotton!), and I certainly don't search for that stuff at work! I'd love to see the study that shows a strong correlation between boots, cats, thrift stores, and underpants.

This is a little creepy, but the VS ad right above this reply window is a lot more tasteful looking than the one I had all day today. It's still a bra and undies, but it's a better, more grown-up looking advertisement.
