My supervisor at the studio I have been interning for has started to pay me for one day a week. I know that sounds grossly underwhelming, but after enduring over a year of being rejected for even minimum wage jobs, it's a big deal to me to be paid a reasonable hourly wage, even if it is just once a week. The main thing is that he could have chosen from a whole bunch of interns, but he chose me and gave me a lot of praise. At least that means I have a good reference, and he has literally hundreds of contacts as well, so it means a lot that he thinks so highly of me.

It's nice to have a bit of spending money again, though I do plan to save some of it. March was a great month for shopping. Between my birthday and Nowruz I had a ton of gift money. I was mourning having to go back to my usual budget, so this came just in time.
