Dear YLF,
Surgery is a crazy specialty. Standing for an eight hour surgery has both of my feet very numb and my brain totally bonked out. On the plus side, I woke up from my nap in time for What Not To Wear!
Also, Microwave Boy is my neighbor! And we go out for food a few times every week. He says it's because he's new to the neighborhood and wanted me to show him around ... okay, I guess, right? We went for ice creams and he tried to climb a brick building to "impress" me ... he got to the 3rd floor before people yelled at him for being crazy. LOL.
Also ran into the Boy who Never Called. He still has a nice smile.
It is starting to get very cold here; I broke SYC and got a dark wool midi skirt which has been worn very often already - it's perfectly easy to throw on and rock, even though I have to change into scrubs when I get to work, and out of them after work (I don't like taking germs home with me!)
Hopefully surgery will be over soon (week 6 of 10!) and I'll be back to YLF-ing again!
Much love,
Lyn
