The move is beginning to exhaust us both. Without getting into too long a story, the BF thought we was not getting the moving expenses compensation he'd agreed upon. This on his birthday no less! We are tentatively shipping the truck and flying me and kitty out within about a week. I have packed up summer clothes and a very light amount of housewares (one frying pan, one coffee cup, one wine glass, 2 knives and some odd bowls and salad plates that don't match our current set) and 3 towels, bathmats, and bare minimum bathroom grooming stuff.
Because I'm flying with kitty, he is my carry on. I have to check everything but my purse! So I will be with literally the clothes on my back if they lose my bag. The truck will take a couple weeks to ship, so none of those items will be at my disposal either. Fingers crossed the bag comes through with no crazy Una moments! For a clothes lover it's a scary thing to think you might be without for days or weeks!
But . . . . here's the kicker. My old boss from the Pub called TODAY to offer summer shifts. Yep, we could have avoided FL all together. ARGH! And he had been planning to call us for about 2 weeks but kept getting sidetracked and too busy and what not. I can't even believe it. So that was my over the top moment today. I resorted to emergency medicinal Chardonnay at 2:30 in the afternoon. Sigh.
Now I just have to figure out how to get me and kitty to the airport since the shuttle won't let pets aboard and my mom is heading out of town for a road trip. The fun just keeps coming

It's pretty matchy matchy, but I'm that kind of gal.
