OT - RoseandJoan....over....and out

I will cut to the chase, I spilled coffee on my laptop today and I'm in no position to have it repaired or replaced for the forseable future (I'm writing this from my Father in Laws PC).

I will check in as much as possible from work and hope to be able to keep up with the blog. I will miss the style, wit and compassion of the forum more than you know.

Oh no Julie You are one of the YLFers whose response I have come to count on. Maybe I'll get used to the withdrawal symptoms.

My supervisor also spilled coffee on his keyboard and it was not a pretty sight. That's why I have one of these (scroll down):

If you spill something, it won't stop the liquid completely, but it will give you a few more seconds to react, which is critical in these life and death situations. It's especially important for a laptop, where you can destroy the whole computer if you spill something, as you have so painfully discovered. And it's just good for everyday use. Keeps dust, oils, and dirt at bay. Hope that will help future tragedies!
