I had my last two wisdom teeth pulled this morning. I had the first two out when I was in college and it was a miserable experience with an oral surgeon and general anesthesia and stitches and the whole kit and kaboodle. So I put off getting the other two out, after they finally appeared, for years and years. My lovely dentist finally convinced me that they either needed to come or or get major fillings, and that's clearly not happening. So, off I went - actually it was not that bad, just local anesthesia and the pain hasn't really kicked in yet - I've had much worse fillings, crowns, root canals etc. But now I am a thirty-mumble year old woman lying on my couch with gauze stuck in the back of my mouth. Why are teeth such a pain?
So I think I'll lie here and watch daytime TV and hang out on YLF and post slightly loopy replies to folks' posts.
OK, here's something on topic: today I'm wearing jeans, a cream and wood violet printed shirt recently thrifted, and a gray cardigan. Once I went to the dentist for a filling wearing a white sweater and she said "that's confident of you". Hadn't even thought about it.
