OT - new job

I got a job! I haven't been here much lately as I have been very busy with school and kids, and now things are going to get even busier.
I just wanted to share the news, and in the spirit of Thanksgiving I also wanted to thank everyone for being such a warm, wonderful community. This past year has been rough, and you guys have really helped me to maintain some level of sanity. I can't put in words how much I appreciate it.

Now I need to treat myself to a new pair of footwear!

When do you start? We can help you put together a new work wardrobe!!!

I start in 2 weeks and I'll probably start with my usual look, maybe on the conservative side - the dress code is casual, so nothing new is really necessary. But I am hoping to add a few new dressier pieces. Footwear is probably the highest priority. I will definitely be asking for YLF help!

Thank you ladies for your support! It'll be a big change, and I feel a bit overwhelmed with everything I have to get done, but hopefully things will work out.

Congratulations on the new job. I have been back at work for 3 weeks now, finding child care wasn't too difficult for but it does take a bit of time to adjust to all the things you have to do. I am sure you will get on fine though!

Thank you thank you! It's been a crazy week. Julie, thanks for asking - yes, we just figured out the childcare (fingers crossed). It somewhat ruined our holiday weekend, but that's OK. I am hoping to do some fun things with the kids in the remaining time.

Michelle, thank you! I am in software, like half of the population here. I can't really complain, because although my field has been hit, but it wasn't as hard as others.
