I can't believe it, but my son is 16 today!
He stressed me out yesterday by having us plan a last minute get together with some friends- communication between teens and their parents is not the easiest thing. I didn't sleep well last night, but still managed to get him to the junior college for his orientation and math classes on time. He called on the home phone a while later (I had forgotten to turn on my cell) to tell me he was done with his classes. I couldn't figure out how he got out so early, but I told him to do his homework on the computer until it was time to pick him up because we had scheduled things so closely for the afternoon (timing pick ups and get together straight from school). Then I realized what must have happened- he got out of his first class early and joined an already in session math class! His math class hadn't even started yet! I turned my cell phone on to call him and got bombarded with messages from a friend about the get together. I managed to get Wonder Teen back to class, and get things coordinated with friends for today, but Holy Cow! I haven't even finished my cup of coffee yet!
Don't tell me the teen years just get worse- my heart won't be able to take it! LOL
