OT- MRI Results

I got the report back from my MRI, and the only thing it showed was a polyp in my sinus (which has nothing to do with the symptoms that I have been having). My doctor is out until September, so I am going to try and get in to a neuro in the meantime.

I know answers would be nice, but I'm happy to hear the MRI didn't show anything of concern. How do you feel about the results?

Oh, hang in there! I'm glad nothing scary was found with the MRI, but I do hope the docs can give you some peace of mind ASAP. :T

Khris, I'm really relieved to read there was nothing nasty that came up with the MRI. I can sympathise with how incredibly frustrating it is to still not know what is going on. I hope you get the answers you need very soon. Take care of yourself in the meantime. x

Anne- I'm actually very frustrated with the results- I was hoping to get a diagnosis and move on to some treatment. It was specifically for Multiple Sclerosis, and some people with that just have a normal MRI.

Hmmmm...so MS is still a possibility? I'm so sorry you are going through this. The not knowing can be terrifying.

Yes, Jonesy- MS is still very much a possibility. Of course, I'm no doctor, but it's the only thing that I have come across in my research that would explain all of my symptoms.

Strength and courage - the good news is, having a negative MRI rules out a lot of nasty. Now to rule out the rest and find healing.

Chewy, I know that you must be having very mixed feelings. First, incredible relief ( because so many horrible things have been ruled out ), yet not knowing leaves you without a game plan.

It may be a good idea to get the neuro appointment scheduled.
