Well, I'm home!
It was very short and sweet - just an informal "getting to know you" type meeting where the Manager basically filled me in on the job, what it entailed, and her philosophy etc.
But, I think it went very well. The manager is lovely and I have no doubt that I could fit in well with their business.
She said she just had to speak to the area manager and go through a couple of other resume's, and then possibly have a second interview.
At the end when I was saying thank you and we'll be in touch etc, she made a point of saying she would DEFINITELY be in touch, so I felt encouraged by that because she could have easily left out the emphatic definitely! (Maybe I'm reading too much into it though - its not like I have a lot of practice with these things LOL).
So thank you all so much for your outfit opinions and well wishes - I'm positive it helped!! I was actually quite surprised how calm I was - I have NEVER been so calm before an interview - amazing what growing up and gaining some confidence has done for me as a person.
And you know the thing that ran through my mind the instant she mentioned a potential second interview... WHAT ON EARTH DO I WEAR - I'M WEARING MY ONLY INTERVIEW OUTFIT!!! LOL I was shouting in my head but retained my composure externally at least LOL
Oh and she got a bit of a giggle when we were talking about how her desire for more shoes wanes the longer she works there, and I told her I actually have shoes on display instead of artwork in my house!
