Janet, I thought of you and Rocky straight away as it is still so close to the time you lost him.
I myself am still tearful. I really don't have words to describe how I feel after/while looking at this photo. It is one of the most powerful images of human with his animal I have ever seen.
I saw that and thought of our 18 yr old dog the BF had to carry down our stairs the last years. Hard to lose your best furry friend. And, yes, you'd do anything to make it better for them.
Well, I teared up when looking at the photo, and then kept tearing up when reading the comments. *Sniff* A great reminder to appreciate our friends, furry or not.
