I do not insult easily. I understand sometimes people do and say things that are not purposefully thought out or meant to hurt. I am also very open minded about people's lifestyles. But the following insulted me and infuriated me ( am I just being insecure ?????) :

I saw an interview with a woman who just wrote a book about landing a "sugar daddy" ; her term. She had a lucrative tech job but when her married "boyfriend" asked her to quit to be a full-time mistress, she agreed. She got a great condo, blah, blah, and quit her job. Three years later he dumped her to concentrate on his wife. She was devastated ( what ???????). But she liked the lifestyle. OK

She placed an ad offering herself as a mistress and 4 men signed up. Among the four of them, she didn't need to work.

She now has a serious, "negotiated fidelty" with a live-in boyfriend. He gets to sleep with someone else as long as she says it is ok and gets something...like a LV bag. She says this keeps her in control and not him.

When asked by the interviewer how this was different from prostitution, her answer was.....ready ????

It it no different from a stay at home mom. Yup. She explained SAHMs don't work and are kept by men who only want sex. We, apparently, accept gifts and live in homes that are paid for by men....we do our nails, go to lunch, etc. with their money. But that no one would ever call us prostitutes and neither is she.....

I tell you , I am seeing red !!!!! I saw this two days ago and I am still steaming over it.
