This is based on anthropology and it's primary purpose is being a drawing tutorial, but I found some interesting facts as well. On the other hand, some people may think that the guide is racist. I like it.

The funny thing is that none of the European types (second part) looks like me The Slavic type is said to have long torso and short legs, while I'm the opposite. My face doesn't look like the drawing at all. (If you're curious, just look at my thread http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....y-wardrobe).

This would have to be very, VERY generalized. I don't find it racist exactly. There is no question that there are varying human types, just as there are varying cat and dog and horse types. It's only racist when we read too much into that variation.

The Irano-Afghan one is spot on for me, aside from the medium-tall part. It's actually kind of spooky how accurate it is! I guess I got my small stature from my Northern Indian side.

I'm such a mishmash that there isn't one that really mirrors me, but my hubby matches up almost exactly with the Alpine group and the few features that don't match up with the British Islanders. Totally perfect, actually, since his family is largely Czech and British.

Hehe, the Baltic group applies to most of my family, in a general sort of way.

Although you can tell the book it's from is a bit dated - they didn't think it was necessary to include female examples as well as male ones!
