I can't take credit for this idea, because I saw it online- but when I decided to take the mirror off my antique dresser, I knew that I wanted to use it as a headboard. It's a little high still, but I like it. Originally, I thought I'd make tufted panels to go on either side since the mirror isn't as wide as the bed, but I don't think that I will. I am so glad to finally have our bed finished. It's easy to make and unmake, this duvet comforter has naturally messy look so even if it gets messy it looks like it's supposed to, and it's comfy- Oleander agrees!
I can't have real flowers due to allergies, but I picked up some silk flowers to add a little color and put them around the room.
My list of projects for the bedroom is winding down (well, sort of!)
