I can't take credit for the idea, because I saw it on a home decorating TV show; but I thought it was a neat idea to use pipes for a curtain rod. I did add a little aging to these (and a coat of matte clear to seal it)- and these are just cheapo grommet top curtains from Target. I couldn't get back far enough to get a pic of the full curtain, but they go down to the floor. In the second photo, you can see the old memory board still in his room- we are going from the blue, dragons and flames to the aged steam punk look. One more project that I can check off the list.
