I would love your thoughts on a bedroom vibe.
We are restoring our home after an environmental issue. Our living room is a blend of industrial and mid century.
Our kitchen will be kind of a dark Art Nouveau bohemian feel, with dark cabinets, dark flooring, coral accents, and a copper tin ceiling,
That leaves the master bedroom. The bed frame has already been purchased. It's a heavily figured wood and the orange color and black grain figuring are reminiscent of tortoiseshell. The furniture is 1930s art deco figured wood dresser and 1930s art deco metal dresser. The room is smaller and paneled, floor, ceiling, and walls in knotty pine. I will likely paint the wood, regardless of which direction I go. In its current state the paneling makes the room feel very dark and heavy, so the walls will likely get a coat of paint in a vintage light grey or cream color regardless of which theme and scheme I go with.
I'm already leaning one direction, but would love to hear your input! <3
The bedspread is a ruffled affair in a light grey (photo 1).
I'm leaning two directions:
#1 Flirty, romantic, with a cooler green, pink, and red. (Photo 2-4) Think Anthropologie, ingenue, 1950s.
#2 Sensual, lush, with plums and velvet. (Photos 5-7) Think Free People, 1920s/30s, flappers, smokey nightclub.
