OT from Jenny: Wish I were here!

Hi everyone!

I'm bummed that I have not been able to participate much at all lately. I've had a combination of good and bad going on in the past weeks, leaving me with virtually zero "Jenny" time. No outfit pictures either because everything I'm wearing is a repeat of something that worked before, i.e. all my outfits lately are fall-back outfits! Boring!

Good news is that I've applied for an internal job posting at my company that would be a definite promotion. More money, more responsibility, but probably even less non-work time. The department head specifically asked me to apply and wants me for this job. I am nervous about going through the interview process again, even though I know and work with all of the people. I'm not too worried about what to wear though. I think I have some great outfits on file!

The not so good news, oh my... I started typing out all my stuff and I've just changed my mind. EVERYONE has difficult things in their lives and mine are no better or worse than anyone else's. Certainly, things could be worse! (It could be raining! [movie quote do you know the movie?])

Anyway, I hope to be around more, but I don't know how I'll manage!

It's nice to see your posts tonite I hope that if you are meant to get the new job that all the pieces fall into place without any extra stress and effort!

It's okay, don't you think, to wear some tried and true combos when everything else is in a state of flux! I've gotten old enough to day that "boring' can be good compared to some of the alternatives.

I hope you and your boys are faring well, and I agree that EVERYONE has difficult things in their lives - if not now, then they surely will come. . . we can only do our best and be there for others who are in their tough times.

Anyway, I'm off to comment in your Nordstrom returns post. . .

On another note, hopefully not the not so good, I hope your son is doing well.

Jenny, we have certainly missed you around here. Glad to see you can chime in now and then. Oh, good thing you found YLF before this possible promotion. How great to have take-it-to-the-bank outfits that you don't even have to think about! Not boring at all. It is comforting and time saving and a less stressful Jenny is a happier Jenny, right?

Well don't feel that you can't express your not so good news. We're a good support team. : )

I miss your presence around here.

Life for you sure sounds like it has been a wild roller-coaster ride, with its ups and downs, twists and turns. Exciting and fun at times, but scream worth scary at others!

Good luck with the interview, I'll be crossing my fingers for you. I also hope that all other aspects of life for you and for your boys is on the improve.
