I am a HUGE Downton Abbey fan. And I loved Season 2 as well as Season 1. I think when you consider the production value...on location AND in studio set up...of course it takes a year to make the new one! I think they can only film in the summer at the castle. Did you hear Shirley MacLaine will join the cast for season 3 as the maternal grandmother? Should be interesting how they handle the coming changes in fashion and morals in the roaring 20's.
(But speaking of great tv, Mad Men season 5 begins March 25 with a two hour episode. We have waited a very long time for this...it was supposed to be on last summer!)
