Hi, All, just a quick note to update you with my news, and explain why I have been popping in and out so sporadically..

DH is still recovering in hospital, very slowly but without obvious complications. The scar tissue from his surgery this time last year needed to be removed as it has contracted and was obstructing his bowel. He is now 6 days post-op, still needing lots of pain relief and still unable to take food, but is existing on ice, water, and an iv drip. And visits from me :).

Thanks for sending wonderful healing vibes his way; the kids and I are doing well and preparing (read clearing clutter) in readiness for the packers, who should be here in the next 4-6weeks.

I'll continue to pop in and out to enjoy your company at the big ol' global 'slumber party' :).
