I never got my Chinese last night. Yes the engagement party was a ruse to get me there. It was all my mum's planning, I think all luvs had to do was get me there! I don't think the work mate is engaged yet but I think the girlfriend is hopeful!! And I'm highly relieved I'd made the effort afterall, though I've since found out the girls at the hairdressers were in on it too and had strict instructions to talk me into dressing up!!! x
