Supposed to go to Arizona at end of week for a convention but today I finally got a job offer (and a good one!) and they will want me to start Monday of course.
Just waiting for the formal details but I have been interviewing for last six months and was starting to second guess myself on many fronts without landing anything so far.
This is with a US retailer that you all have heard of (although for the YLF group it may not be your first shopping destination for your own clothes....there is a lot of very cute things and good prices especially up coming) that is a middle market department store (not Kohl's...) and I will be the merchandise manager of a large volume store until a store manager position becomes available. Lots of new shops and direction coming for this store in the next year so will be exciting and challenging.
And they have a great dress code - business casual with denim allowed but not exclusive. (So much better than the polar fleece and tshirt people lol).
I know a lot of folks who work for them who are very happy with company and culture and feel it is a good fit - finally! I just had to share with someone as my DH isn't home yet
