I've been out of commission the last couple of days because I lost 2 foster cats this week - one, a 4 1/2 week kitten (Gato) who had major surgery a little over a week ago and after doing really well for 6 days, took a turn for the worse the day before yesterday. Gato and I had bonded over many sleepless nights and most of the time he laid on my chest when he slept. I really loved the little guy.

The other cat was Sally, who was very, very old - with multiple old-age ailments! She let me know a couple of days ago that it was time for her to cross the Rainbow Bridge and so she went yesterday also.

I am just wiped out - but wanted to let you all know that I'm still here!
