Awesome! Congrats! That was a great article and very timely for me. Last night I cleaned out my closet of everything that is too small and/or that I never wear. I'm going to Crossroads and Plato's Closet today to sell everything because I could use the money more than the clothing orphans. I am selling a lot of really expensive items that just don't fit and I have barely worn. I am curious to see what they buy.
I have noticed that these shops have been a lot pickier lately. Last year I brought in a bag full of stuff and they bought each and every piece. That hasn't happened since then.
For the Chicago ladies, I also found a shop called Savvy Seconds and 1sts. The owners seem less selective about what they'll buy (they do buy plus sizes) and they also buy accessories. I have never walked out with a lot of money here, but they have bought items that Crossroads and Plato's Closet rejected.
