I've been exploring my local thrift shops for items to take to the flea market- and having a ball doing it. I actually bought this chair to re-sell, even though I've been wanting a chair like this for years. When hubby decided to move the chair that had been in this spot out to the living room, and moved this one into it's place so he'd have somewhere to sit and out his shoes on- I wasn't going to complain! It looked pretty rough when I found it- dusty, scratched and stained cushions. A good vacuuming, an application of scratch coat, and a gentle cleaning with dishsoap, and it looks great! Maybe some day in the future I will have it re-done, but for now I am happy to add this little beauty to my sanctuary.
