Poor Winnie hope he feels better soon. It's not at all silly to be worried sick, furbabies are part of the family. When my furbaby Marley went in to have some teeth out for the second time I was so worried I couldn't eat all day. The first time he had teeth out his blood pressure dropped low and they had to put him on a drip, so the second time I asked for the drip at the start of the op but was so worried as I nearly lost him the first time round, and would have done if he'd had it done at another vets as usually they don't have the equipment for that sort of thing!! I totted up that he cost me £1500 last year but I don't resent a single penny of it because he's my baby x

Oh, I hope she's OK! Our kitty has a reactive immune system and she stays inside all the time but still sometimes gets into trouble. She gets infections very easily and often her lip gets a sore and infection on it from some unknown allergy. We have learned what we need to do to help her heal more quickly. Hopefully it will be the same with Winnie. It's so scary when they are sick and you don't know why! Hugs.

Oh Sveta, I'm so glad Winnie is doing a bit better and her bloodwork is good. I know how you feel. We have 4 kitties of our own, and over the years have had a variety of health crises with them. Living creatures always take precedence over material goods, and NAS can't hold a candle to a beloved fur baby. I hope Winnie continues to improve and the vet will be able to pinpoint what is causing her recurring problem. Hugs!

I'm so happy to hear that Winnie is on the mend, yay!

Oh Sveta I am so glad to hear that your kitty is improving!! When cats get ill the situation usually deteriorates quickly (don't ask me how I know ), so very very glad you took him to the vet immediately. Eating is most definitely a good sign, even if it's just a little bit (when they're not eating you need to REALLY worry).

If you haven't already, switching Winnie's food over to a sensitive systems type could help, especially with vomiting. My cat is older and was vomiting quite often a couple years back, and our vet had me switch his food to a sensitive system type. It helped stop most of it, which in turn helped boost his stomach strength and health; seemed to be one of those "once he starts throwing up he'll keep throwing up" things, and also actually helped his liver as well.

Sending you and Winnie well wishes and snuggles!

So glad to hear Winnie is doing better, hope he continues on to be strong and healthy.

Thank you ladies! I came home to find him hungry and active - not as much as usual but much better that yesterday's lethargy. I think he is on the mend!
Thank you for being with me through this.

PHEW!!! I found this late because I'm not much on the forum; I am SO glad your beloved and beautiful kitty is doing better.

Sending a healing hug to Winnie, what a beautiful puddy cat x

Oh dear - sending out good healing thoughts to Winnie.

Thank you all! Winnie is completely his old active self today and woke us up with his usual "song" this morning - something we did not hear for the last 3 days.
He sends you all his kitty love and agrees with me that YLF is the best!

So glad to hear he is doing all well now. He is one dashing kitty

Aw, what a cutie! Glad your furbaby is doing better!

Now that's a fab-looking cat! Whew --- what a relief for you, Sveta.

Glad he is better Sveta

Sveta, I am so sorry to hear about Winnie, but glad that she is better. What a relief. It is so scary when they get sick. You are such a good "mom" to your kitties. They are so lucky to have you. XXXXXX
