Thanks. I called my older sis last night, as she also has arthritis. We are both suffering, and have decided to keep each other posted on what we can find out about dietary changes. When you hurt as badly as we do, you get desperate!
I've heard about the Whole 30 diet; just not sure if I want to go Paleo or not. My mother ate that way (including eating organ meats), and she had a lot of arthritic pain, too. On top of that, her body had a difficult time absorbing iron and Vitamin B12, so she had to receive weekly shots.
To my knowledge, I do not have any vitamin or mineral deficiencies. I've been checked thoroughly in the last 4 years--even a bone density scan, a test for RA, and a test for celiac disease. I appear to be fine, and the doctor even commented about how I don't have a Vitamin D deficiency, as most people do.
