for the "angie" outfit, think a highly refined straight-line shirt dress with two different fabrics. first, a semi-sheer black silk georgette shoulders, collar and long sleeves cut like a classic woven fitted shirt. sewn into the georgette starting about 3-4 inches below the collar bone is a black and white tweedy fabric with a pattern reminiscent of a chanel plaid. this fabric extends to just above the knee in a slim straight-ish silhouette. at the top and bottom of the tweedy fabric body and approximately 12 inches from the hem is same fabric trim but unraveled giving it a decorative texture. the same black and white tweed is used as sleeve cuffs.
