Made a quick visit to DD2 in Oregon—to see her new digs for her first job as an RN. She had four days off so spent a day in Portland and then hit then Columbia employee store, hiking at Silver Falls State Park, Tillamook/Coast/Cannon beach, and then a day tooling around her new town/Costco/picking up a few more things for her apt. Oregon is fantastic and so pretty. Had a rainy hike but got an early start and avoided the heavy rain and crowds. Extraordinary falls and nice trails—it was awesome! My favorite part of the trip. Looking forward to another visit.
