Ordered new Harem Pants

I ordered two new pair of harms pants - the first ones are black with a big pocket design and the second ones are white. I showed pictures of them to my friends and they hate them. I am trying to stay strong with what I like, even though they think joggers are the only things that look good. I wish my friends could think about this more clearly and not just see it from their own perspective. I like them because they look like ninja pants. I admire the style of Team Farang, and there is a guy named Jason Paul who looks really creative with his stuff and I want to look like that! My friends would actually like the new pants if they were the Farang brand, but since they aren't, they think the pants look stupid. I will show you pictures when the pants come and I try them on.

I really like esp. the black ones. They remind me of Japanese field pants. Are those grommet things across the back functional? Or are they decoration? The Team Farang harems aren't nearly as interesting.

The white ones remind me of sweats which really isn't my style so I favor them less.

I admire and respect you for staying true to your style. I would think that by now your friends would just shrug and figure that's your style; you aren't forcing them to wear the same thing after all.

I don't know about the grommets yet - I am looking forward to getting them to find out! True about my friends figuring that it's just my style. I don't give them a hard time about what they wear. Thank you for saying that!

I agree with you, Donna! I am super curious to see the black ones in person. They look really cool to me! And I think the white ones will just be a very basic alternative to his plain black ones that get constant use (although Ethan has realized that white pants aren't so practical for active wear!).

I like both of them, but prefer the black as well, I think they have a bit more character, but now that I read again about them resembling ninja pants, I am intrigued about how you would style them. You are an admirable young man, in staying true to your style no matter what your friends might say. I think they secretly like the pants, but just don't want to admit it.

I like both styles, and think they are a great look on guys! Personally I would wear the white ones, cause I'm not into the grommets.

These must be part of your signature style if you are own multiple pairs. They are so much more interesting that what I see high school and college guys wearing around here. Too bad your friends don't really get it, but keep being original!

I really like the black ones. I'd probably like the white ones if thy were any other color, but I'm predisposed to NOT like white because I can't keep it white for more than 3 nanoseconds LOL

People can be very close-minded, and it can be hard to swim against the current. I'm proud of you for doing it!

It is so typical of your friends to like something because of the brand on it, but not necessarily the style. You are different in that you understand and appreciate the underlying style. I think both look great, though I, too, find black more practical simply because I cannot keep white white.

If it gives you any inspiration, my DS has this suit, and he is looking for excuses to wear it anywhere. Even after his friends made fun of it at school, he wore it to prom, and when people slowed down and honked when he walked down the street, he shouted, "Thank you!" He has continued to wear both pieces as separates or together, and it is now part of his signature style. His Spanish teacher saw a post online about the suit asking how anyone could wear it, and she said one of her students looked like a boss in it. As they say, show no fear, and soon you will be the coolest guy around (though you probably already are).

Don't mind what your friends think. I love both, favouring the black tho.
I wear drop crotch and sarouel pants and have a growing collection. They are an acquired taste but I find them interesting and edgy.

Stick to your guns - I know its easier said than done - but hopefully they'll get the idea that we can all wear what we like. Cool pants!

My son had his own style, too. Other people didn't like it, but he didn't care, just like you. Good for you, being a leader, not a follower. I like the black ones, too.

I quite like them. Staying true to your style says a lot about the quality of person you are. I think it says you have an internal compass that guides you. We all aspire to that type of emotional strength.

As soon as his YLF account goes to active member, he will post outfit photos. I can't get over how cool these pants look on him. They definitely took his basic harem pant "uniform" up a notch!

I really, REALLY like the black pair. I'm taking my measurements now to see if they would fit me. Stay true to yourself and your style, thats what has always made you such a cool kid.
