What great pieces, orange and blue are a great combination. Your blouse is very pretty and the Birkies are look more dressy than the Arizona's I have - so great that you were able to walk 6 miles in them.

Thanks all! It's nice to wear normal clothes again!
I've always worn sandals for hiking, but soft footbed ones. They're just so much more comfortable for me than sneakers, especially since we have 6 months of hot weather.
These fit my narrow feet better than the Arizona's, and look more refined. I may get the Gizeh's too, but these I can wear with socks. Not stylish, but comes in handy for camping- or dashing outside on cooler days.

That is a wonderful top. I stopped even thinking of wearing sandals this time of year after seeing several rattle snakes. I saw one last week. You are correct in my reason for wearing orange.

I wore orange today too, for a bike ride. I was over in your neck of the woods on the Cross Island Trail.

Happy orange bike! I don't like riding the cross island trail, since it's narrow and crowded. The road works better for me. The trail is good for walking though.

Yikes, rattlesnakes! Good reason to wear closed shoes. We have a couple poisonous snakes, but I've never seen them, just black snakes. One comes into the garage sometimes. Big but not agressive.

It's been Birkies- or my older hiking sandals- with everything for the past couple months, Angie! Only other things I've worn are my low cognac heels, trainers for biking (but want biking sandals), and flip flops for SUP.

Ha Angie- maybe devolving Most days I don't wear shoes at all more than about 2 hours!
Not sure what I'll do when they make me go back (kicking and screaming) to the office. Wonder if everyone will be in Birkies and flip flops...

Oh, I only ride the trails on weekdays when there is almost no one on them! I was feeling like avoiding cars today.

Apparently my area is a copperhead hotspot. We’ve found at least half a dozen in our yard in the last three years. One was in the garage. And one bit one of our dogs about a year ago. Ugh.
