Opting out of Spring 2013

Well after the white leather track pants disaster, jumspsuit bummer, the Kenzo sweatshirt fiasco and seemingly sold out Zara white sweatshirt; I seem to be striking out this season. I'm not even so sure about the LD Tuttle sandals, given that it didn't even break 50F today and I wouldn't be able to wear them till June if I'm lucky.
I have two styles of white jeans, some pastel (blush and mint) skinnies. I have plenty of mint from last year. I could make do with what I have.
For example yesterday's outfit was made all with existing stuff and I would deem a very successful remix.

What? Just like that? Maybe the weather will turn and then you'll get that shopping feeling again. You do have some pretty awesome blush and mint pieces though.

Shopping your closet seems like a very appealing option, and I agree with the remix being a success. It's still early isn't it? Something will come along. When you least expect it (oh, geez, sounds like what my mom used to say about Mr. Right!).

I am usually checked out of Spring, it is my least favorite season. I generally skip it and go straight into Summer.

yeah, you know, spring in the PNW is a blink of an eye anyway. Here in Tahoe isn't much different. I figure I'll go from winter to summer, for the most part. Maybe something unexpected will catch your eye.

My experience is that it's when I stop searching, the great things come along. I'm sure your closet is a good starting point for your Spring ensembles.

What Ingunn said! As you said, you've already got the wardrobe to last you through this spring, I see no harm in saving up your pennies for the perfect item to fall in your lap!

I am layering my clothes to get through the spring, which is short here in Greece. I have been shopping for a change of looks in the summer months, as it lasts from May to October here and I need clothes that are cool and comfy in the heat and humidity.

I often opt out of spring shopping because I'm not a pastels gal and that's usually what the spring clothes are. So I'll join you on the bench! *sipping tea*
