A couple of things I'd like your feedback on...
1 I tried this drapey trench thingy at Anthro yesterday (I thought at first glance it was a dress but the SA told me it's a coat). It's unlined, which works fine for me since our spring weather tends to warm up quickly. I think it looks better in person than in the photo, maybe because it is very light and drapey and it has some movement (also, the light in Anthro is always problematic). I've seen a few street style photos with very drapey coats like this, although tied with the coat unbuttoned, and I kind of like the vibe and the change of pace from my usual moto or structured topper. What do you think? The pattern is a small black and grey geometric shape on the white background.
I left it in the store but have thought about it and wondered if it's worth going back for.
2 JCrew sweater. I'm enamoured with the neckline and the color, but I wonder if it's too long or just not the greatest cut on me. Their stuff is so straight, when I size up to accommodate the hips, everything else gets too big. The first photo is a M, the second is a L which I think is too long on me. I'm leaning toward returning both, unless you all see something I don't.
Please be brutal. I'm not in the mood these days to buy anything that isn't totally fab.
