Opinions on this coat

I am still looking for a water-resistant non-black trench and I came across this one:

What do you guys think? Unfortunately our Macy's doesn't have it so I'd have to pay shipping to see it IRL.

It's a beautiful coat at a great price. I've been looking for something similar but those I like have all been too short to cover the hem of a skirt that hits at the bottom of my knee or even at the knee, so I'm still looking. Be sure to check the length. If anyone finds something similar with a back length of about 41 inches, let me know.

isn't loden a greenish color---like an olive with a lot of black in it? Not charcoal?

I really like loden. It seems rich and classic and sophisticated to me.

Oops - you're right - Loden is a nice rich dark green. I just automatically thought Charcoal - don't know why...

Thanks for validation! I just ordered it. I found a 10% off coupon to compensate for the shipping cost. At the store they told me they can't order it for me from the web site, that feature is "coming soon" (as well as locating stores that carry a particular item)

Julijuli, yes, I ordered the green and I hope it works out. I thought that Nordstrom would get more coats by now. So far I've seen water-resistant trenches mainly in black and that khaki shade that isn't flattering on anyone.
