This top is handed down. Should I keep? No emotional investment so be frank!
Tucking and semi tuck won't work, BTW.

It fits you well. Are you comfortable in it? Does it still fit if you raise your hands above your head, or do you have to pull the hem back down?

Keep for now and enjoy. Colors and style are very flattering on you. If you change your mind about it next year, you can let it go without regret since it was handed down.

I'm sorry, I don't like it that much.
It's ok, but looks a bit too tight.
You have such a good figure and beautiful features. This busy top wants to steal the show; it's not delicate enough.

Yes, colors should be good on you. It's just too busy... for my eye, anyway.

Is that Review? I used to have one in black with white piping on the edges. In itself it’s a very pretty top and it suits you, but if I’m to be totally, utterly frank with you I think it’s a little dated. Only because I know Review always had them in their collection 7+ years ago. Of course you still look beautiful and if you like it then go aheAd and rock it :).

Jussie - I'll check in my lunchbreak but I don't think it's Review. I agree with you and Becky that the style seems dated (a frequent prob with handed downs!)

A clear keep from me! I think it looks great on you, and I like the style. I personally would like to see it with slim-fitting black pants.

I personally didn't think that it looked dated--but I didn't pay much attention to fashion until maybe six years ago. So I'm not sure what was making the rounds then.

Thanks Gigi. Here's the whole outfit. Not sure how the jacket and suit necklines go together. Might be too dark to see anything.

It s a very flattering shape on you so I guess it depends if you like the colour and pattern and whether you have got any outfits you think it would work in.

Cardiff girl, I haven't had a great run of blouse. purchases for work and was primarily thinking I'd wear it with this suit. Many of my office skirts are patterned - this is my only plain one (Suz, the Halogen one from you is finally showing its age) and I have no other patterned blouses at all.

Anne, if you wear a jacket over it, I think it would not look dated, as the eye would see primarily the print and not the blouse shape, if that makes sense.

I think it is very pretty. It can take a bit of getting used to items that are ruched, but Angie's favourite dress at NAS has a ruched top, so this looks current to me.
I see this as a great top to wear under jackets, I find black jackets can look very dark and it is nice to have a pop of colour underneath.

I don't love it on it's own but when you showed it with a jacket then I realized it might be good since it is so slim fitting. I kind of feel like it's too busy of a pattern though - but I rarely wear patterns so I'm not the best judge of them.

BTW I put my hair up partway the day and I think that looked better with the high collar.

I read somewhere (could have been here!) that patterns are best suited when they sort of "go" with your overall hair, eye and skin "patterns" for lack of a better word. So, if your hair is longish and wavy, you might look good in patterns that sort of replicate that look. I know I have a lot of vertical "striping" in my hair color and I like wearing vertical stripes - new discovery for me this past year actually. But I also like wearing patterns that are slightly larger/wavy/natural because that also goes with my hair.
