I have been wanting to add a black oxford to my shoe collection for a while now. What do we think of these? I dont' want anything too girly, and I want a bit of a heel. I actually love the petrol/military combo too, but it's not available in my size (sniffle).

They definitely have potential. I think I prefer the petrol/military colourway, but just ignore that if you're after a black shoe;-)
I own a few pairs of Fly London shoes and am very happy with the quality and comfort.

I'm not crazy about it. I think it's the shape of the toe; I'd prefer something a little more streamlined.

Thanks, ladies. Parsley, could you clarify what you mean by streamlined? I have wide feet so this toe would probably be comfy. But now I'm second guessing myself as to whether these look too orthopedic...

What are you planning to use these for? I would like another color if these are intended for wearing bare legged.

I'm thinking of work outfits, as a variation on my studded Danskos. It's become obvious I tend to default to high-vamp clunky black shoes and I feel I need another option. These are my Danskos:

I've tried these on in gray and loved them. Very comfortable, although my feet are on the narrow side, so YMMV.

I think that especially in the black, those first ones have too much of a clunky, work boot look, not sleek and sophisticated.
But it depends what look you're going for.

What about something similar to these guys, in black. Still high vamp, still edgy and retro minus the potential clunky element, if you want something different.

I would not mind these in black on a bare leg, since they are less massive.

Great oxfords, but the only Fly London's I ever tried were wayyyy too narrow (I don't typically need a wide, but my right foot is a semi-wide). I was sad to return, but they were a different style. Free returns with Amazon right?

I'm a recent fan of Fly London and am really impressed with the comfort and quality of their footwear. I love the texture in these and the slightly chunky heel - I could totally see this with your wardrobe - BF's, work trousers, skirts, dresses...

Hmm, I really like Fly London and I love oxfords, but for some reason these in black don't seem the best of the best. Definitely worth a try since you can return them right? I do love the ones Parsley linked to above but they are twice the price. Well try them I say!

I think they are cute! I can't see the ones you are linking to on endless.com (I just get a blank spot where the shoes should be).
