Ladies, I'm 6 weeks post partum tomorrow. I have a couple items I bought while pregnant that I'm not sure about. Please let me know your thoughts. And for what it's worth, I'm perfectly happy with just flattering enough. I want to look current but relaxed. The jumpsuit is heavy linen, my concern is the fit around the hips. Its plenty big and so is not very tailored. But I wouldn't want a close fit in the area anyway. The dress seems very long and I'm concerned about the boob pockets. Hoping to wear the dress for US Thanksgiving in a month which we will host and I will therefore not be wearing shoes. Maybe with tall heeled boots for work later.

I really like the dress - love the colour and style on you. Looks super comfortable stylish and practical - I agree a little shorter might be better and easier.... The pockets don't bother me at all.

Not sure about the jumpsuit. I love the colour and top part, but unsure about the legs fit. I also wonder what shoes for winter....I can imagine it more with sneakers or maybe oxfords with ankle showing - not sure about winter boots? But maybe that would be warm enough.

Looking at the photos, the jumpsuit needs different shoes for sure. Maybe hemming and a wider belt? Or is it a no go completely? I'm not quite willing to give up on it because its beautifully made! When I get the chance I'll try it on with the legs rolled up a tad and a selection of pointed toe shoes.

I too like the dress and am not sure about the jumpsuit. Seems a little short in the leg or maybe not short enough...

Yes I think rolled might work and a pointy flat or heel could really lift it. I love the colour on you......

You could alter but you might be best to wait a few months as bodies change shape post partum in unpredictable ways....

I like the dress and didn't notice the pockets til you mentioned it. I bet it would look good with the sleeves rolled. Can you wear it open as a duster? It would be super fun that way, even just over jeans and a tee.

I like the jumpsuit and agree it might be worth hemming; right now I find the inseam too long relative to the sleeves. I like the idea of rolling the legs, if they'll stay rolled.

I adore the jumpsuit on you, Jenava. I love how you have it belted, so it shows your figure but also looks loose and slouchy.

The dress is fun, and I like it on you. But it is super long. Would you shorten it to midi-length? I think that might be more flattering and still on trend. The pockets don't bother me. I was trying to envision it without the pockets (if you could remove them without having any telltale stitching lines), and I think it would lose a lot of style then. I like the way the pockets break up the lines a little bit.

Oh, and the last photo is just the Best! But you knew that, right?

I think the jumpsuit works, agree try more ankle. The color and drape are really good.
The dress needs hemming so it can look relaxed but not drown you. Midi and not floor- length. Might play around with whet to end up. Pockets seem ok to me.

I really like the jumpsuit and think it looks flattering on you. Great color.

I would for sure shorten the dress if you decide to keep it. To be completely honest, to my eye it almost looks like a pajama robe at this length; to me it doesn't read "dress." I think shortening it would fix that.

Nice to see you back, Jenava -congrats on the baby nr 2 and YLF in both (very current) outfits like there are but you can always use another belt for accent instead of self-ties, isn't it!:-)

The dress I like! Perfect for fall!
The jumpsuit.. I don't like. The color is nice but the pant and sleeve length are funky and the neckline looks robelike to me.. My first thought, too, was maybe a wider more substantial belt, but I don't know how it would actually solve the above mentioned problems. *shrug* ❤️

I think the jumpsuit looks adorable. I think the dress is good too. It would look great with boots. It's very long, so I am concerned when you say you probably won't wear shoes. Congratulations on your sweet baby. Struggling with baby fever over here

Thank you lovelies! When I get another moment I'll try things on with the jumpsuit again. Both these are nursing friendly which is a requirement these days! Yes, she is baby 2 for me. Her name is Oletta. Her brother adores her...she is a redhead. Very calm and alert. I'll get the dress hemmed as well.

Adorable baby, really lovely, and you look very, very well.

I much prefer the jumpsuit to the dress, which I think doesn't do you justice. The pockets have an obscuring and widening effect and the pattern is a little too pyjama for my taste, especially for at home entertaining. I was honestly surprised by the difference in the photos and how much more flattering the jumpsuit is.

In linen, the jumpsuit might be more of a warm weather wear but it is pretty, and if you're comfortable with the complications of wearing one, it does look well done and I can see the appeal of keeping it.
