Opinions on these pants.

I noticed these pants did not make it onto Angie's top picks. I would love your thoughts on these--pluses and minuses--or just impressions
They are super cropped on the model but I'm guessing that at my 5'4" they would read much longer.

You could measure inseams of pants you own and compare with the 26" inseam this has in a size 8. You might even ask what the inseam is in your size. I am 5'3" and these would be about 2-3 inches above my ankle...ankle pants.

They are nice. Typical Theory. Runs a little small, straight, and drapes like a dream. Fab quality. Length is good, actually. Fresh with the matching blazer. Colour is lovely too - although none of my clients liked it.

I'm with Angie on the fit for Theory. I adore their stuff but my 5'3" pear shape cannot wear their bottoms, I'm just too curvy. But their sweaters I adore and fit me well.

Thank you for the replies. I have yet to try Theory pants, so will see how the straight fit works for middle-aged me.
Angie, I'm especially glad you think the color is good--that was what first drew me to them.
They are supposed to arrive Thursday....Crossing my fingers.

I'm curvy and could do a size up before I gained weight! Now I'm sized out. Depends on the style, too. If you like them I'd say worth a try.

Oh my gosh, Brie! Thanks for posting. I just added these pants to my bag! Our Colorado stores have very poor selections this year, so I've been a bit lazy about the NAS. I have a huge hole in my closet that these pants will fill. I just went to try on my current Theory. They still fit, but I concur Theory runs about a size small. I love the quality of Theory. It's a shame they don't fit more bodies.

I hear you on the thin in store selection. My local Nordies feels emptier this year. One of the SA's in the shoe department said they hardly have any inventory in the stock room whereas last year it was full. She said that so many people shop online that it makes sense for them to keep product centralized. As for me, I want my cake and eat it too, as I love the in store shopping but often hit the order button online...

She also mentioned that Nordstrom bought trunk club so perhaps they see that model as the future of retail...

They are definitely focusing more on online shoppers these days...and it's taking two weeks for my online order to arrive. So, I'd say they have some work to do there!!
