So some of you may remember that I developed an allergy to mica in eye shadow which pretty much eliminates all sparkly shadow. So I had basically given up eye makeup except for mascara.
Today I stopped by the NARS counter and asked about matte eye shadows. The makeup artist did a smokey eye on me with a super dark teal around the eye, a burgundyish shade on the lid, and a bone shade on the brow bone. The colors do make my eyes look green. But maybe I've adjusted to minimal look. It seems like a lot of effort for minimal payoff. I didn't buy anything because I wanted to see if I developed a reaction. So far none.
For the record I'm only wearing a minimal lipgloss and I think my blush got obscured by the extra powder he used.
