Opinions on Anyi Lu booties

I've been playing with my new booties from NAS. Do you like certain outfits better than others? Any suggestions for outfits that would look good with the booties? Do you think structured, woven items look better than knitted, unstructured items? That's kind of what I'm thinking.

I am no help because I love them with everything. As for the structured vs. knit I always prefer structure.
I also think they are stellar with skirts - both shorter and midi length. They look nice with jeans too but they are outstanding with the skirts!

I also love them with everything! They look great on your foot - the way the bootie is cut at the ankle is very flattering.

Thanks everyone. I like them best with a patterned dress or top that picks up the dark grey. I am glad you think they are a good investment! They are very walkable, and they don't show much toe, so I hope to wear them well into fall. What I would live is a patterned sheath dress that picks up the grey. Actually, I have a black and cobalt sheath from MK that might do the trick.

They do look great with everything you've posted here! But I might be leaning toward where you've paired them with softer looks (like in 3,4,5,6) because I like where their simple clean lines contrast with the soft structure/print of the outfit a little.

Laura: First, I'm gasping over #1 and $4 -- these looks are stunning, and all of them are wonderful! If I were to be picky, I'm not loving the shoes with the dress in #2, although that could be the angle of the pick. Booties like this are on my list!

I like them with all of these outfits, too, and I love all of the outfits! These booties are such a fantastic style for you! It's wonderful to see them look so beautiful on you, because I adored them and tried them on, but didn't love how they looked on me.

5 and 6 would really go well with a nice pair of booties. But all the rest still look very nice! I just bought a really nice pair of booties that I think you would really like for #5. Should have a look.

Well then! As Angie says in her post today, these booties have earned a place in my wardrobe. I wasn't sure they would go with anything until I started trying them on -- and I was proven wrong, so wrong.

Yep, my hair is dark blonde, and it's pretty warm in tone. It's also shorter than it's ever been, and that's saying something. We had to crop it VERY short to cut off the red. Now I'm onto something new: Project Long, Chic Hair. It's going to be a two-year journey! Wish me luck and patience!
