Hmmm. :-\ I feel bad about this, but I'm not loving it. It seems overly complex and yet still a little unexciting. Maybe it is the colors. Neutral on neutral. Are you thinking you'd wear it with colored denim?

K, good question . . . I was thinking all colors of denim, blue, black, white, red. I am consciously going toward neutrals. I'm so sick of my bright summer colors here. I was actually looking up graphic tees when I stumbled upon it. I'm drawn to it, but not sure it's much more than just a passing fancy. Just not sure.
And don't ever feel bad for not liking something - I don't want a troupe of 'yes men' lol!

Kristin, I don't know - I'm thinking it can be separated. Even if it's tacked at the shoulders and/or waist, I can wield a seam ripper pretty well

Not really a fan of the silhouette or the mix of colors. But then, I find it so difficult when I can't see on. It can look totally different once it is worn and styled. Perhaps with the colored denim as you noted and pretty scarf.

I'm liking this. It's interesting. I like the drape of the outer top. Would work well with jeans. I'd like to see it on you.

I think it could work well as a casual topper with some interest. I was a little surprised because I don't think I have seen you so much in this type of color scheme, but why not?

I would wear this in a second. I do like the overshirt better in the grey version than how they tied it in the black version.

Hmm. This seems to me like one of those things that could be either great or awful, once you see it on a real human body. My initial thought is that there is too much going on (there seems to be a lot of volume below the tied waist, which gives me pause), but I'm attracted to simpler cuts on tops these days, so take my impression for what it's worth.

It is hard to know without seeing it on you. My initial impression is a no. I think that sort of draping is very hard to get right, from a construction standpoint. The only items I have seen recently in a similar design, done successfully, is some tees by AllSaints. I was looking for something similar to wear under a leather jacket and with jeggins but I came out empty.
Is it returnable? If so, I think is worth the shot.

My initial reaction is "meh". It's probably one of those items that looks better on a body than by itself, so I'll reserve judgement.
