Opinion on this coat?

So I wanted a big camel wool coat for a while. I realize this is lighter than camel, but I really like the oversized style.

I think you should hold off and wait for a camel coloured coat. Camel is a much richer color and would suit you well. I like this style though.

I think it is truly beautiful, the oversized belt is a fantastic design detail as is the notched collar, you wear cream very well so I have no concerns about the colour.

From a warmth perspective what are your thoughts on the low neckline?

I think cream is more glamorous than camel (also more high maintenance.) But I'd like to see it on you to know whether it would work ... i.e. that it is not so oversized that it looks overwhelming on your frame.

Gorgeous - CM coats are usually reliably well made. Camel is a whole other animal, no pun intended, and this colour can go sophisticated and/or edgy in a way camel sometimes can't.

I think it's beautiful. Do you really want camel though? I'm actually more partial to this color, but that's a personal bias -- I'm betting you look way better in camel than I do.

Great belt detail. I think it says it is a wool blend. I've had coats or jackets that were majority wool and they were warm and less than half wool and they were not warm. But you may not need an uber warm coat where you are?

I think you'd look great in both of the colors, camel or cream. Cream less preppy practical, though and might suit your avant garde pieces better.

I've loved your outfits with white and cream this summer. So pretty with your skin. This could be gorgeous, but the others have made some good points about camel.

I love this coat, both the color and the shape. But, camel is a color I tend to avoid because it does not look good on me, so I may have a bit of a poison eye for it.

The only downside to the coat I see is that the color will be hard to keep impeccable, especially on public transit. Fashion wise, it is gorgeous!

I collected this coat, have my eye on it, and think it's stunning.

I do think it's over priced for a CM coat though. I had expected it to be $300 cheaper since CM is not a pret a porter brand. That said, CM's quality is excellent - often as good or better than branded merchandise - ironically. And perhaps the coat is cashmere? It's not described as cashmere online though.

But if you are after a camel coat, Anna - this will not cut it.

Will you still be itching for a camel coat if you get this one? And if so, do you have room in your closet for both? I love the collar and back belt on this coat, but to me the devil is in the details of where the sleeve and that black button hit. I think they could hit the model in slightly better places, but that's just my eye, and very few of us have a model's proportions anyway.

It is a beautiful coat but it is cream. I personally love both cream and camel but for a winter coat I would go with camel unless I had several coats. Also, what is the warmth factor?

I really love this coat. I'm a huge fan of camel, though, so I'd say this won't fit the bill if that's what you've been wanting.
