Opinion on these boots

They're on sale but still very expensive. Since I'm off my heels for the foreseeable future I'm wondering if they'd be worth the investment.

They look cute and versatile, but would the hair part stand up to the wet climate?

I love them. They are quite unique and I think you could get get a lot of wear out of them if they are comfortable.

I love them but if they are quite pricey I would go for a more classic motorcycle boot like the Frye one. You can wear them with everything and I think you may get more use out of them. In 2 years you may be fed up with this boot, but a classic black moto boot will never be out of style.

THESE are worth their money in my opinion, Anna. You live in Seattle and can wear this type of shoe 9 months of the year. They look so good flat!!!

(I am a biased Team Flats team member, of course).

You're the one who's been telling me animal print is going about to crash like the stock market. Did you have a change of heart about animal print? I am enjoying wearing it these days even if it has an expiration date in the forseeable future.

If you think you'll still like the animal print after the trend has died, then I think they're worth it. They have as much edge and personality as your monster wedges, so they can hold their own in your wardrobe. They also add some color on bottom so they can sort of bookend your hair, and they will be comfortable for your hip.

Sorry to sound obtuse Rita and Una, but what is the difference? I don't think that animal print will crash - because it's a classic. Of course, if YOU get sick of it, that's another type of crash!

Anna voted "no" on the last two animal print items I posted. She said the animal print trend was about to tank like the stock market.

My understanding of Anna's prediction was that, since animal print is trending so *hard*, it would not be able to trend for very long. I think it can still be a classic, but the possibility is always there that the market will burn out on it for a while. I don't know what I think, since I'm not an animal print person in general.

I love, love, love these, and am with Angie on animal print being a classic. I'm an animal print lover from way back and have been sporting it for years and will continue to long after the "trend" is over.

So very worth whatever the price, they are unique and gorgeous!

I'm not in the debate, just to clarify! Only pointing out that Rita was referring to something Anna said, not what you (Angie) had written.

Personally, with animal print, it doesn't matter that much to me if it's on trend or classic or on the way out... I like what I like.

Yup. Market saturation *can* make you off something later - to a certain extent ruffles and cardigans are like that for me.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that I could personally feel that way about animal print. Too classic, and I guess, too much up my own style alley. I adore snake skin as much as zebra, pony, cheetah and leopard. I do understand that it will lose it's appeal to others though.
