I just want to tell you ladies that you all are wonderful and Angie, I thank you so much for having YLF online! This is such a wonderful community that not only supports each other in style endeavours but in personal growth as well. This goes to show that my theory (and maybe my future masters thesis when I get to that point haha) is true: personal style is very tied in to our personal growth. I'm going through a major life transition at the moment and this community, though we mainly talk about style, has helped me cope with my life's slow transitions.

I've been a YLF member for 3 years but mainly stuck to the style forums because I've been afraid of opening up to others online since 2006 (negative experience - no, no psychos, just DRAMA). I first lurked in off-topic after the Toronto meetup and only recently participated. The Toronto meetup opened new doors for me in terms of friendship and support.
