Opaque woven tops for summer?

I haven't been able to spend much time on the forum (or shopping) lately, and siince our summer has officially started, I am in desperate need of non-see-through woven tops. I can't seem to find anything that doesn't require a base layer. Could somebody please make any suggestions? The only other requirements are reasonable length (tunic is good too) and natural fiber.

I love the Foxcroft "No Iron" shirts from Nordstrom. I have them in short sleeve, long sleeve, and tunic styles. They come in many colors and prints. I just got a new white slim fit pintuck one at the NAS and I am crazy about it. These shirts are so nicely finished that you can wear them untucked and they still look polished.

Thanks Inge and Cookie! Cookie, Foxcroft shirts used to be somewhat short for me, but tunics might work, I'll check them out.

Inge, I think the Dockers shirt, the FC blouse and the 2nd Max Studio top are wovens. I really like the FC top, but not sure the color would work for me. The Max Studio one has empire cut and the neckline is too low for me, but I like the pattern. The Dockers shirt might work though, hmm... going to comb through Zappos a little more. Thanks for the links!

It doesn't look like it would be, but that v looks quite deep to me to wear without a cami.

You're probably right, Maya. I thought the V might be manipulated with the tie, but it doesn't look like it can be adjusted that much.

Ooh Tanya, thank you! These are so pretty. I should probably avoid flutter sleeves, but the first one looks great. Do you know if their sizes are 2 sizes smaller than US, like H&M, or only 1 size?

I find that they run a bit small. I normally need a 4 in non-stretchy woven tops there, although for one I had to size up to 6 too. I also take 4 in H&M, if that helps.

sorry to hijack your thread, Marianne, but since we're on the topic of FC: would a size 6 be too big for me in this dress, Tanya? They had a 4 a few days ago but I didn't order because I thought my size would be a 2...

I am not sure crazyone... I am 35 (30D)-25-36, and I have one FC dress size 4; if that helps.
Angie says they run pretty TTS, but I always find that I need to size up in wovens. I am actually just in the middle of exchanging a pair of bottoms for 4 instead of the original 2.

Tanya: it sounds like a 4 would have been my best size...bummer! Maybe I'll go to a FC on Newbury St. and see if they have them...I've seen this dress in person there (though I didn't try it on because the price was so high then) and it's just lovely...

Marianne, I don't know how you feel about plaid (I'd totally understand if you thought it was too juvenile), but how about these?

Oh, I love FC on Newberry street, used to go there all the time. I miss Boston a lot !

Thanks crazyone! I am not against plaid in general, although I feel like a lot of Fossil clothes is on a younger side. I should go check them out in the store, thanks for reminding me of them!
Unfortunately we don't have an FC store here, boo.
