I was just reading auburn's thread about her new white gap jeans, and was reminded of one of my major issues regarding white jeans. Thing is, I want to be able to wear them in the summer, and unlike Auburn, I live in Boston, where summer is dreadfully hot and evn more dreadfully humid. Realistically, for me, who runs warm, this means that all my heavier weight jeans get put away for the summer because they are just too hot! So I need lightweight denim (the lighter weight the better) for summer. Even with crops, I prefer a lighter fabric.

Now, I really want some white jeans BUT in my experience they need to be heavier weight in order to prevent pockets or skin or underwear showing through. Do lightweight, opaque white jeans exist? Has anyone found any, or is this an unattainable holy grail?
