Note: My facial expressions in these photos do not convey my feelings! I was just hurrying taking pics and forgot to smile. I really like this. Cocoon styles so often fit me poorly -- they are often *too* voluminous in the body and taper too much at the hips. This one fits so nicely and seems flattering. Plus! forest green, and some leather trim and moto-ish accents. It's so me! I have a couple of long wool winter coats (the black Trina Turk military coat, and the houndstooth grey and black from last year, plus an older burgundy coat with a fitted waist that I still wear occasinally) but this is a whole new silhouette for me that would freshen up my coat collection.
It's hard to see detail in these photos, but I've tried to lighten the shadows to reveal some detail. I probably would rarely wear it fastened all the way up but it's always nice to know that's an option if a cold wind starts blowing.
What do you think? Should I pounce?
