I have no plans to shop today. As others have pointed out, there are no special deals going on. I also don't really need anything else right now.
The majority of my purchases this year were planned, as I had to replace most of my shoes and boots due to foot problems and certain favorite boots wearing out after years of frequent wear. That took up the bulk of my budget, but it needed to be done. I also picked up some warm jackets and pullover sweaters to prepare me for the supposed-to-be colder winter ahead, and a few dresses. The dresses were unplanned purchases, but I have no regrets, as I have lost weight and had few dresses left that fit me. And as you know, you can browse through a sea of stuff before finding what suits you. There's also very little to distinguish between one store and another; they all seem to offer the same styles. And the perfect dress is rarely there when you actually need it, so it's best to plan ahead and buy according to what you're sure you're going to need and wear. In my case, I had no casual dresses and only one sheath dress, so buying 4 casual dresses and one classic sheath dress filled that void perfectly.
So I'm finished shopping for myself until next year.
