Modcloth is the perfect example. Here's the sizing of one specific item (click "measurements" tab): http://www.modcloth.com/store/.....rse+Blouse
Most stores only list two sets of measurements: mens and womens. If I'm lucky, they also have juniors and petites sizing. Not to mention that are often only 2 or 3 measurements taken (sometimes only bust and length). Even fewer list the size charts of every brand. None that I know of, other then Modcloth and some vintage sites, list the exact measurements of every single item. The only vintage store I actually shop at online, shophousingworks.com, no longer lists the measurments of their items, so now Im down to one site that lists detailed measurements. Do you know of any others? To help jog your memory, the sites most likely to carry to this info are, in order of likelihood, vintage sites, true period clothing reproduction sites, Indie designers, sites that cater to a small and very specific clientele (lovers of clothing inspired by "steampunk" or for example), any site with a focus on clothing inspired by the 50's or earlier. But if you've actually managed to find another thoroughly modern, mainstream site, like modcloth that lists exact measurements, I will owe you for life!
